How To Be Productive? 4 Tips For Taking Massive Action Everyday
If you want to take massive action for your business or in your life, be productive! Be on fire and make it happen, every single day, day in and day out!
I will be talking about my best insights and top tips on how to be productive and take massive action.
If you’re building a business or any goal you want to achieve in life, you always have to focus on your productivity. How do you become super productive?
Always evaluate yourself how you will become productive every single day to achieve your set goals.
When you're in the phase of doing massive action, you might face struggles along the way, remember that struggling is part of the journey to be productive.
1. Know Your Goals
Being productive should always start with a goal or target. This is the core of what you want to achieve. For example, if you want to build your own business you have to know when you should start, to be efficient and effective, your target market and many more.
Without setting up your goals, you will not be productive. Productive people know what their target goals are, although they may not know what will happen during the process. They might face a lot of bumps during the process but one thing is for sure, they know where they want to go and the destination they want to be.
If you want to be productive, the first thing you have to do is to get up and write down on a piece of paper your goals and the things you want to achieve to remind you what you need to accomplish.
2. Be Proactive
Being proactive is knowing what you will do every single day. Have a planned action daily, but it doesn’t mean you have to jot down your hourly things to do.
Planned actions should not be a burden but use it as a reminder of what you should do for an entire week.
For example, it should be written down like:
- Monday – Research and gather new ideas
- Tuesday – Call Potential Partners
- Wednesday – Draft Business Ideas
- Thursday – Conduct Survey
- Friday – Decision for a Final Business Name
Before going to bed at night, you should know what you will be doing for the next day to be productive.
3. Ask Yourself “Is it me that has to do this?”
The third most important step on how to be productive is to ask yourself, “is it me who should really need to do this?”.
In building your business, you have to ask yourself who should do a certain task. Is it you who needed to accomplish a task or you can just simply outsource some manpower to do it for you?
You should be aware that in outsourcing, you have to pay a fee for someone who will do the task for you. If you think that outsourcing will help you to be more productive to other tasks, then don’t hesitate to get a helping hand with others.
You have to weigh all the circumstances which you think will help your business grow.
Remember that you don’t have to do it all alone. You need to have your team and know your weaknesses so you can have members which will be your strength.4. Know the Difference Between Growth Tasks and Maintenance Tasks
Basically, the growth task is something that you think your business will grow. For example, in recruitment, this will help your business grow as you will hire new employees that will be effective in your company.
Maintenance task is simply answering emails, phone calls or inquiries to your clients and potential customers.
The next important thing is thinking about the outcome or the result during the process. Some people continuously do what they started without looking at what is the current result. Sometimes, to achieve your goal, you have to learn how to pause and review the outcome and step back if the results are not good.
Changing the approach when one plan doesn’t work will always be the most effective way to achieve success. Thinking, planning, revising and testing other approaches might be challenging but if this is the way to achieve your goals, then it is worth trying. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. And remember, you’ve got to take massive action. Cheers!
