The Ultimate Life Planning Workshop 📒 | Success In Personal Development 🏆 | Ep 03
I’ll be going through step-by-step how you can create the life you want and how you can be motivated, driven and inspired to take life on and be the best you can be, to design the life you want and to live on your terms!
This workshop will uncover your passion, energy and drive we all have! I believe we don’t lack motivation. When we are inspired to do something, you don’t need motivation to do it. You will get up and work for it. What we lack is a vision, something exciting to go for. We are inspired by the greatest people in the world because we have this inner power, and when we unleash that, it’s incredible what can happen for you!
All you need is a piece of paper and a pen! Let’s get into it!
What we’ll be going through:
Stage 1: Get into peak state
We’re going to be celebrating your achievements! We produce the best work in our peak state! Don’t do this workshop if you’re in a lousy state, because you’re not going to be motivated to create your life plan!
Stage 2: Choose your areas of life success
Stage 3: Ultimate Goal Setting workshop process
Stage 4: Ultimate Visions for each area of your life
This is going to be your purpose for each area of your life!
Stage 5: Decide your life roles
Stage 6: Introduce new habits
If you want to get to your Ultimate Visions, you’re going to have to introduce some new things into your life. It’s daily, small habits you’ll introduce one at a time that are going to set you up to achieve your visions!
Stage 7: Go on a 100 day challenge
You’re going to be so driven, motivated and inspired after this process, it’s going to set up momentum in your life like you’ve never experienced before!
Stage 1: Celebrating your success
Answer this: What are your top five accomplishments you are most proud of?
We’re so focused on the things we haven’t accomplished, take some time to go through your top five accomplishments.
You cannot be sad or angry, or carry any negative emotion if you start from appreciation and being grateful.
Once you’ve determined what your top accomplishments are, take some time to celebrate what you’re already achieved! Be proud of it!
Stage 2: Choosing your areas of life success
What areas of your life are most important to you?
I suggest splitting this into two areas: personal and professional.
Your personal categories could include your friends, family, loved ones, your hobbies, your mission, and your lifestyle.
Your professional categories could include your business or your job.
It doesn’t matter how many areas you have, just be aware of what is important to you.
Stage 3: Ultimate Goal Setting
List at least 50 goals, this is the exciting part because you’ve got all the areas of your life that are important to you!
Go back to stage two if you haven’t determined your key important areas!
This process is something I did and it really helped me see my visions and I thought to myself, “How incredible would my life be if I achieved these things?”
So this is a question to ask yourself – What do you want in the next 20 years?
Don’t limit yourself!
Some examples of things to think about while you create your list:
- What habits would you like to incorporate into your life?
- What is your perfect day?
- What cause would you contribute to?
I had so many things on my list, it’s incredible when you have a huge list of goals and you can start to cross them out, it creates so much momentum in your life!
Stage 3.5: Timestamp everything on your list
You’re simply going to put 1, 3, 5, 10, or 20 years next to everything you’ve written down! There’s no right or wrong answer here!
When I was timestamping my goals, I hardly had any under the 20 years category, and only told me I needed to think bigger visions!
Stage 4: Ultimate Visions for each area
Write down a statement for your Ultimate Visions for each area of your life. It doesn’t have to be perfect, or well-written.
An example of mine in terms of health and fitness:
I am the greatest living and the strong version of my body. My health and energy flows through my veins, giving me the power to breakthrough and destroy any physical obstacle that cross my path. Nothing will stop me until I am 110 years old and still going strong. To run, swim, cycle around the world, experience the greatest and the most extreme climates.
Look at your goals and group them if you want! This is your moment to be selfish! Have reasons for your goals and jot them down.
Stage 5: Deciding your life roles
What kind of person do you have to become to achieve that much greatness? Be creative here.
So for example, if health and fitness is important to you, do you have to be a spartan warrior?
In your relationships, do you have to be an incredible father/mother, a caring person to a stranger who may need your help?
In business, do you have to be an entrepreneur? Do you have to be a financial planner god?
Be ridiculous in the language that you use. Whatever describes you, write it down.
Every time you look at these goals, you can remind yourself of the identity you need to assume to get them done!
Stage 6: Introduce new habits
Now that you have all these incredible visions for you life, it’s very easy to get overwhelmed, so what I did was just introduce one thing into my life that would help me achieve my goals.
Try to think about one thing you can do in each area. So for example, in health and fitness, what is one thing you can commit to? Do this for all areas of your life.
It’s amazing how one habit can snowball into ten things, and it just becomes a way of life! You won’t even notice it happening!
There’s three levels to mastery: knowing, doing, and living.
We’re trying to get to the third stage of living, that it becomes a part of you.
Stage 7: Commit to the 100 day challenge
This is what really helped me! I started the 100 day challenge in 2016. I signed up on the website and committed myself to it.
What I did was I went over my one-year goals, picked my top four and committed to completing these four goals!
One way to do this is to go to the 100 day challenge website itself. You can go to www.lifesuccessengineer.com/100daychallenge, and that takes you to Gary Ryan Blair’s website, and I did this program last year!
You will be in a community of people who are doing the same challenge and they give you so many tips on how to achieve your goals!
If you don’t want to do this, just pick your top four one-year goals and commit to achieving them in 100 days!
Remind yourself of the reasons you’re doing this! It’s to inspire you to become all you can be! It’s not about your goals and achieving them, it’s about the person that you become that’s able to achieve those goals.
When you achieve your goals, you become a better version of yourself. This is your life. Be inspired to go through and achieve the things that you want. You’ve gone through the purposes, you’ve decided why you want this. Let that be the drive for you to inspire yourself to become all you can possibly become.
You now have a life plan! You now know your destination!
