In this session 3, we have a website homepage redesign consultation with Reezy as we get back on the call with him to discuss our proposition for his blog redesign.

THE WEBSITE GOAL

As we discussed in the previous sessions, the goal of any website is to capture the visitor and provide value within the first few seconds. You have to always bare in mind that 99% of visitors will never have heard about you or know anything about you. You have to be super clear with your message. Let's take a quick recap of what ReezyResells.com is currently looking like: 

Summary Analysis 

  • It currently does not instantly show what the site is about. 
  • There is no free giveaway.
  • There is no pop up to capture attention.

    It does not show Reezy, a person behind the brand. 

THE PROPOSAL

The proposal is now to put to action everything we have spoken about to give ReezyResells.com the best chance to capture and keep visitors on the site. Below we will go through the key sections and flow of the first draft of the homepage. 

The New Homepage Walkthrough

  • The new homepage will have a banner at the top to catch attention. 
  • The menu bar will be redesigned to more relevant pages. 
  • An eye catching banner will show the visitor immediately, it's a person.

THE FREE GIVEAWAY

Once the new website is built which will be on Thrive Themes, it will allow us to create a landing page for Reezy's free gift. This will be the best thing that will capture and encourage the visitor to stay on the site. We have discussed many things here and given my website example which is below: 

This is the free course I created to give away to my audience that are interested in Online Arbitrage. This is a great giveaway as it is a 64 lesson course that really shares how people can get started. Using this as an example is great for Reezy to see what works and what will work for his brand and audience too.
